Four in ten urban residents in South Korea hope to one day move to the countryside.
According to a survey by the Korea Rural Economic Institute, 41 percent of city-dwellers said they want to move to the countryside after retirement or whenever they’re ready.
This is up six.eight percent from the previous year.
The report pointed to an increase in job insecurity and high housing costs in the city.
The biggest reason was to live healthily and surrounded by nature.
