North Korea could possibly hold the eighth ruling Workers’ Party Congress on Monday, the first weekday in January.
According to the North’s state run media last Thursday, delegates to the regime’s eighth congress have already gathered in Pyeongyang.
On the agenda for this year’s meeting is discussion over a five-year economic development plan as well as possibly a message to the incoming Biden administration.
The event will be the first of its kind in four years.
