South Korea held a ceremony on Friday to honor more than five-hundred soldiers killed in the Korean War whose remains were recently recovered from the DMZ and from battlefields in South Korea or were repatriated from the U.S. earlier this year.
The ceremony was held at Seoul National Cemetery with limited attendance because of the virus but including close to 50 senior government and military officials.
Among the 514 soldiers who were honored, only eight have been identified.
The remains of an estimated 120-thousand soldiers from the Korean War have yet to be excavated.
