U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Steve Biegun is reportedly coming to South Korea next Tuesday.
According to Reuters on Friday, the U.S envoy is scheduled to meet with South Korean officials and due to give a speech.
The trip, however, has not been publicly announced by the State Department yet.
The source said his visit comes as U.S. President-elect Joe Biden has promised to reset relations with Seoul, adding that this would be his last visit as the Trump administration has only around one month left.
