South Korea’s education ministry will decide in the coming hours on whether to resume in-class learning at schools in the greater Seoul area.
Under the previous rules, kindergartens, elementary and middle schools had been instructed to hold remote classes until September 20th.
After a meeting with municipal and provincial superintendents, education minister Yoo Eun-hye will announce the decision.
