South Korea’s Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee, who is running for the top post at the World Trade Organization,has wrapped up her schedule in Geneva and is reportedly in Paris.
She plans to stay in Paris until Friday to meet more officials in a bid to attract last minute votes.
She was in Geneva for ten days contacting representatives from the member states to call for their support.
After the first selection rounds end next Wednesday, the WTO will drop the three bottom candidates, and three more at the second round.
The two final candidates will battle it out in the third and final round which will last up to two months, with the final decision expected by early November at the latest.
