Acting Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki is set to address the nation in the coming hours to give details about South Korea’s vaccine supply situation and its future inoculation plans.
This comes two days after the government sealed a deal for an extra 40 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine.
Based on the framework given earlier, the government aims to give shots to 12-million people in the first half of the year,in a bid to form herd immunity by November.
