And, Seoul’s defense ministry is extendng the current distancing measures in the military for two more weeks as well.
That means a nationwide ban on vacations and off-site trips for soldiers which had already been in place for well over a month will remain in place until January 17th.
As of Monday morning, the military has reported a total of 508 coronavirus cases.
431 service members are in quarantine based on the nationwide standard plus almost 34-hundred are under isolation based on the military’s own stringent rules.
