The chairman of South Korean auto giant Hyundai Motor has made his first overseas business trip since taking the post last year.
He went to Singapore this week to meet with officials about Hyundai’s plans for the future mobility industry.
Chairman Chung Eui-sun was there for four days through Wednesday, meeting with Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and trade minister Chan Chun Sing.
The trade minister said they discussed opportunities in sectors such as electric, self-driving and aerial vehicles.
Chung also toured Hyundai’s newest facility there, the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center.
