Bad weather is hampering search operations for the seven crew members of a capsized fishing boat off the coast of the southern island of Jeju.
The rescue began Tuesday after the Coast Guard received a report that the 39-ton vessel capsized near the Port of Jeju at around 7:30 PM, Korea time.
Four South Koreans, including the captain, and three Indonesians were known to be onboard.
While the rescuers confirmed they were all still alive until 3 AM, Korea time, on Wednesday,they disappeared after the ship broke apart around that time.
