On New Year’s Day, the city of Seoul is going to open a new walking path taking people by some of the most important landmarks downtown.
In the spring, trees will be planted, and so it’s been dubbed the “Sejong-daero Forest Road.”
It goes along one of Seoul’s main thoroughfares, Sejong-daero, from which a few lanes have been removed to make room.
The Forest Road goes for about a kilometer and a half from Gwanghwamun Plaza through Sungnyemun Gate to Seoul Station.
