South Korea has confirmed yet another case of highly pathogenic avian influenza in wild birds.
The agriculture ministry said on Saturday that the fourth outbreak of the highly pathogenic strain of bird flu this year occurred in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do Province.
The disease was found from a sample of mandarin ducks captured earlier on Tuesday.
The government has banned transportation of all poultry for three weeks, from where the sample was collected.
The country has raised its guard against the disease since late October, when an avian influenza case was reported for the first time in nearly three years.
