Britain says it will resume trade talks with the EU this week, in a bid to end the months-long deadlock.
The chief negotiator David Frost tweeted Wednesday, that “intensive talks will happen every day” in London starting Thursday.
The two sides have been calling for more concessions from each other, after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson last week walked away from the negotiations.
The key areas of contention have been fisheries and the control of domestic subsidies.
In a separate statement, however, Johnson’s office said there is no guarantee of success.
Both sides aim to make a deal by the end of this year.
