Around two-thirds of South Koreans can look forward to a discount on their phone bill in the near future.
The government has decided to give a 17 U.S. dollar discount to everyone between the ages of 17 and 34, and older than 50.
The exact details will be hammered out and the plan finalized either today or on Thursday.
The phone bill discount is aimed at promoting non-contact activities as part of a customized emergency relief package.
