President Moon Jae-in has been chairing an expanded meeting of the National Economic Advisory Council to lay out the government’s economic policies for 2021.
The meeting, which was held half face-to-face and half virtually on Thursday, had more participants this year, including the Prime Minister and Democratic Party leader.
Discussions centered on ensuring a fast and strong economic recovery and a plan for a transition to make South Korea a leading economy.
They also shared their opinions on the direction of the country’s economic policies for 2021.
