South Korea has confirmed another case of highly pathogenic avian influenza among wild birds in the city of Yongin, south of Seoul.
The agriculture ministry said Wednesday that the H5N8 strain marked the seventh outbreak of its kind this year.
As part of toughened measures to prevent the spread of the virus, local farms have been advised to keep poultry indoors, preventing them from coming into contact with wild birds or their droppings.
