The IMF is projecting that South Korea this year will once again be the world’s 10th biggest economy, climbing back to the ranking it had two years ago.
South Korea was bumped down to 12th place last year by Canada and Russia.
But its economy having fared relatively well in the pandemic, it’s going back up.
South Korea’s GDP this year, according to the IMF, is going to be around 1.6 trillion U.S. dollars.
