Seoul Metropolitan Government has released detailed guidelines on how its mask-wearing policy will be carried out.
Wearing masks in public has been mandatory since last Monday, except for when eating or drinking,
The detailed guidelines say people don’t need to wear a mask when driving their cars alone or with family members.
Infants younger than 24 months and people with respiratory diseases are also exempt from the measures, as are people who can’t work while wearing a mask, such as musicians and athletes.
Masks must be appropriately sized and cover mouths and noses.
Violators of the policy will be fined from October 13th once the grace period ends.
