Women living alone or running a business by themselves will be able to get safety equipment from the city of Seoul.
From June 1st, women in all of the city’s districts can apply for double locks, emergency alarms, window locks and smart sensors.
These have already been installed across 11 districts last year to prevent potential crimes and help women living alone feel more at ease.
The city is planning to support around 15-hundred places, and applications can be made through the website of any local district office.
