Seoul and Washington have started their combined military drills.
According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff Sunday, the scaled-down joint exercise will continue for nine days.
The training is being conducted through computer simulations.
Considering COVID-19, the drills involve minimum personnel.
The Full Operational Capability test, which assesses South Korea’s preparedness to take wartime operational control from the U.S., has been delayed again.
The joint exercise comes as North Korea warned of a “serious security crisis” during last week’s preliminary training.
