South Korea reported 538 COVID-19 cases on Monday, most of which were local transmissions.
The number has been in the 400-to-700 range for about two months, as cluster infections continue at workplaces, bars and restaurants.
As a result, health authorities last week extended the social distancing measures until mid-June.
Nearly 3-thousand more people received COVID-19 vaccine shots on Sunday.
The total number of first shots administered currently is around 3.7 million.
On Sunday, another shipment of vaccines arrived from Pfizer.
