South Korea will continue temporary testing centers in the capital region for two more weeks.
The health ministry announced Saturday that 144 temporary testing centers in the capital area will run until January 17th.
For those in other regions, local governments will decide on their own, how to operate them.
So far, they have conducted over 730-thousand COVID-19 tests at 186 testing sites nationwide from December 14th.
The authorities said they would no longer conduct PCR tests using saliva, as most people do not prefer it.
The testing centers will open from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, and 9 AM to 1 PM on weekends.
