The country reported 926 new cases on Monday — falling slightly after recording an all-time high 1,097 cases on Sunday.
Of Monday’s new cases, 892 were locally transmitted, and 34 were from overseas.
There’ve been 24 more deaths, bringing the death toll to 698.
Authorities have warned that should the situation continue, an increase to the highest level of distancing, level 3, will be inevitable.
