The greatest concern for South Koreans this year has been infectious diseases.
According to a social security public perception survey, Seoul’s health ministry found that being vulnerable to infectious diseases is what has worried people the most in 2020.
A lack of jobs was the next greatest concern followed by real estate, low birth rate, and matters related to the environment.
The survey also revealed that even five years from now, people will still be worried about a potential virus outbreak following the COVID-19 pandemic.
